Before Booking

What is myStayBonus?

myStayBonus is a hotel-focused cashback travel platform. We partner with major global hotel groups through legitimate travel-advisor channels and return part of the commission to travelers as cashback.

Will booking through myStayBonus cost more than booking direct?

No. The hotel groups we work with — Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, IHG, and Caesars — all offer an official Best Price Guarantee.

You are booking at the lowest price guaranteed by the hotel, and cashback is an additional benefit, not a pricing trade-off.

Will cashback affect my hotel loyalty points or elite benefits?

No.

Your booking:

  • Earns points and elite night credits as usual
  • Qualifies for elite benefits such as upgrades, breakfast, and late checkout
  • Is recognized by the hotel the same way as a direct booking

Are all room rates eligible for cashback?

No. Only commissionable rates qualify for cashback.

Some special rates (employee rates, internal rates, or certain packages) are not eligible.

We will always help confirm eligibility before or during booking.

Can I use your IATA number to book a travel agent rate?

No. Travel agent rates are reserved strictly for verified travel professionals. Hotels often verify eligibility at check-in and may request a valid IATA card.

If eligibility cannot be verified, the hotel may:

  • Require the rate difference to be paid, or
  • Deny check-in

For this reason, myStayBonus does not support travel agent–only rates.

During Your Stay

Will the hotel treat my booking differently?

No. Your reservation:

  • Is fully recognized by the hotel
  • Receives the same service and benefits as a direct booking
  • Does not appear as a third-party or discounted booking

From the hotel’s perspective, there is no difference.

Can I use hotel promotions, member rates, or discount codes?

Yes — as long as the rate remains commissionable.

Some promotions and member-only rates qualify for cashback, while others do not. We will verify eligibility in advance whenever possible.

After Your Stay

What if my booking was paid in a currency other than USD?

That’s not a problem. On the Submit Booking page, you can:

  • Convert the amount to USD yourself, or
  • Select the original payment currency and enter the exact amount paid

Regardless of the method, all cashback is issued in USD.

When will I receive my cashback?

Cashback is issued after your stay is completed. The process:

  • You complete your stay
  • The hotel confirms the stay
  • Cashback is processed within the stated timeframe

Processing times may vary by hotel group.

How do I know when my cashback is available?

After submitting your booking, you can track everything in your myStayBonus account. Each booking displays a cashback status such as: Pending, Confirmed, Available. Once the status becomes Available, you can request payout.

How can I receive my cashback payout?

Currently, we support the following payout methods:

  • Check
  • Zelle
  • PayPal

More payout options may be added in the future.

What if I cancel my booking or don’t check in?

Only completed stays are eligible for cashback.

Canceled reservations, no-shows, or bookings that do not meet eligibility requirements will not generate cashback.

Is myStayBonus safe and legitimate?

Yes.

  • All bookings are legitimate and compliant
  • Cashback comes from approved commission structures
  • We do not use loopholes or unofficial methods
  • Your booking remains secure and fully valid.

Can you help with complex bookings?

Absolutely. Whether you need:

  • Multiple rooms or extended stays
  • Suites or luxury hotels
  • High-demand dates or special events
